Humanity First EMT1 team was asked by WHO to be part of Bahamas UNO’s disaster response. A joint team of nine volunteers from US and Canada will reach Nassau on September 6, 2019. Humanity First Canada is spearheading this combined HF Canada/USA team with Brian being the team lead for this gutsy team. Whereas Humanity First USA is setting a command center in Miami area.
Dr Kalim Malik from Chicago, IL will be joining the team in Bahamas – as the first ER doctor on the scene; on behalf of Humanity First.
Humanity First expects the engagement to last for 4 to 8 weeks, hence continues to recruit volunteers for medical and logistics support.We are aggressively working on recruiting medical and other volunteers.
