Message from Humanity First USA
On behalf of Humanity First USA, I would like to reach out to our supporters in this time of need. The entire world is feeling the impact of the COVID-19 virus, which was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO). On March 13th, President Trump declared a national state of emergency due to the rapid spread of this virus.
We strongly encourage you to follow the CDC guidelines to wash your hands, not to touch your face, practice social distancing and take care of yourself and your loved ones. We know that everyone will heed the information provided by the CDC. Continuous updates are available at https://www.cdc.gov.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all affected by this crisis. We are grateful to the frontline workers managing the crisis: the doctors, nurses, and other medical staff who are risking their own health and safety as they work tirelessly to slow the pace of COVID-19 as well as the thousands of volunteers who are ensuring that underprivileged families and children have meals and supplies to last them through the next few weeks. These are the people who will be recognized and celebrated for their sacrifices. Humanity First USA understands the fears and anxieties associated with the virus and would like to express our support and sympathy. We have difficult times ahead; times in which we need to become true symbols of Humanity First.
Families are having to make tough choices and face great physical and economic hardships as we move into unprecedented times. Humanity First USA understands the impact of this virus is greatest on the most vulnerable in our society even though communities are rising and taking steps daily to help flatten the curve to reduce the direct or indirect impact of this virus, not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to take care of themselves. In these tough times their reliance on our support is more than ever.
Humanity First USA will continue to monitor the situation and create new initiatives to help the people in our communities and support public health agencies prepare for this crisis. We want to be on the forefront of this situation and rely on you to help support our communities, especially the vulnerable and those who need assistance.
Thank you for trusting in Humanity First USA. https://usa.humanityfirst.
