Humanity First USA will be holding the annual "Dine for Humanity" fundraising dinner on Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 7pm to pm, at the Troy Community Center in Troy, Michigan. The events will be raising funds for the Humanity First USA banner programs and disaster relief efforts.

Country Director to Haiti, Dr. Clayton Bell, will be speaking at the dinner about Humanity First’s work in Haiti. Since he joined Humanity First USA in 2010, he has established several successful programs. The Cloud Medical Forest Clinic opened in June 2010, and the medical staff has served over 12,000 impoverished Haitians. During the cholera epidemic in 2011, a Cholera Treatment Center was established to save as many lives as possible. The Humanity First Primary School is expected to finish construction in April 2012 to support students who have been in session since the start of the school year in October 2011. Dr. Clayton Bell was also a part of the Bisiklet for Haiti in 2011, riding 3,100 miles across America in 37 days with Dr. Jeff Crawford and Kyle Martin. Their efforts raised over $30,000 to support the projects of Humanity First in Haiti.

Raman Botta, University of Michigan undergraduate student, recently joined Humanity First USA on a medical outreach trip to Guatemala, and will be sharing his experiences at the dinner. Additionally, Waleed Khan, Humanity First USA National Staff member, will be presenting the latest information on Humanity First’s global and national activity.
