Humanity First is pleased to announce its annual Surgical Mission to Ghana, West Africa from April 18th to May 1st.  This two-week surgical mission will include visits to two district hospitals in rural villages along with a two-day visit to one of the teaching university hospitals for a laparoscopy lecture.  In the past, the surgical mission performed over 40 procedures during the two-week trip. The leading surgeon will be Karen Cartwright, MD, a pediatric surgeon from California.

In addition, Humanity First is looking for the following health professionals to participate on this trip. We cannot accommodate all requests as we have many more volunteers than we can bring.

1) Physician Anesthesiologist
2) Surgical Technician
3) Registered Nurse with operating room experience
4) Registered Nurse with post-operative patient experience
