Our Donors

Humanity First programs are funded through donations from individuals, corporate gifts and employee gift matching programs, and various other organizations.

Individual donors

Individual donors are the source of the majority of funds used by Humanity First humanitarian programs. There are thousands of individual donors who donate either on a recurring basis, or respond to specific fundraising appeals to support various disaster relief or human development programs. We sincerely thank our ever-growing donor base and count on their continued support for the organization.

Small Businesses and Corporations

Many small and medium businesses as well as large corporations in the US also donate to Humanity First on a regular basis. These donations take the form of annual or quarterly gifts directly from these companies, as well as employee gift matching programs that match their employee contributions up to 100% and even more at times. Click here to see a list of several corporation and business sponsors of Humanity First.

Government grants, foundations, and other donor agencies: Humanity First is also supported by several grants from government and non governmental agencies. For example: The government of Qatar donated $1.17Million to Humanity First in 2006 to execute on several redevelopment projects in New Orleans out of their of Hurricane Katrina relief funds.
